Personal Side

Elizabeth was born and raised in Geneva, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She graduated from UNL magna cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Elizabeth attended the University of Nebraska College of Law and graduated with distinction. In law school, she received the highest grade in the class in Farm and Ranch Tax. One of Elizabeth’s favorite parts of being an attorney is working in a family community which means she gets to help generations of the same family line. She enjoys seeing the kids grow up and then helping them take over the family farming operation when the parents choose to retire. Elizabeth is involved with the Bruning, Nebraska community and serves on the Board of Directors of the Bruning Early Education Nonprofit.

She loves Nebraska which is why she decided to stay after graduating, plus she is a huge Husker volleyball fan. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, taking trips to the dog park and spending time with her husband, Erik, friends and family.
